Returns Policy

This website is intended for your Company to purchase goods in the normal course of its business.  Returns and disputes are governed by the laws of Australia and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Australia.

If goods are damaged during delivery, please refuse to accept the delivery from the carrier.  If you do accept delivery, please ensure the damage is noted on the carrier’s delivery record.  Photograph and keep the goods and all packaging.  Notify your Account Manager immediately for Datacom to arrange carrier inspection, pickup, and insurance.

If you do not notify Datacom within one week of delivery, we will not accept damage claims and our regular return policy will prevail.

Faulty goods will be subject to the normal return procedures for the specific brand being returned.

By default, Datacom will not accept returns of any goods (except for damaged or faulty goods) because our suppliers do not accept returns from us. There are a few exceptions with some suppliers accepting returns for some of their goods provided a request is made within a set timeframe (typically 3-10 days from delivery), the goods were not purchased under a special bid from the supplier, the goods are unopened, the packaging is in pristine condition and the goods can be resold as new. There is usually a restocking fee in these circumstances, and delivery fees will not be refunded. Please be very careful about ordering the correct product and please clarify with our Product specialists if you are unsure of the suitability of a product that you intend to purchase.

Order Cancellation

If you cancel or delay delivery of an order you will pay us any fees, including restocking fees that we incur. If we are unable to return these goods to our suppliers, you will pay the value of the order in full. You acknowledge that an order is defined to include any loan or evaluation equipment.
